Resistance

Marabel Riesmeier

In this video, Marabel performs her poem Resistance. She discusses the crises that prompted her to write it, reflects on the links between crisis and hope, and her understanding of the relationship between poetry and resistance.

This poem “is about grappling with a post-apocalyptic world in which we have failed to do what it takes to prevent disasters, but also about finding community.”
